Put industrial data to work with practical AI.
Industrial Leader helps plant operators explore AI where it can support a specific maintenance or production decision. Our approach starts with the controls, instruments and records you already have, then builds a scoped advisory use case around dependable data. The aim is useful evidence for your people, with a clear way to test whether the result helps.

Choose a decision worth improving
AI is most useful when the question is clear. We work with your team to identify a recurring task: finding the right equipment document, reviewing unusual machine behaviour, grouping downtime records or preparing an exception report. We then assess whether a conventional rule, a better dashboard or an AI-assisted workflow is the most suitable solution.
- Source-cited retrieval from approved technical documents
- Advisory review of unusual trends and operating patterns
- Draft maintenance summaries and production-loss classifications
Build a dependable data foundation
Good analysis depends on understanding where the data comes from. We review timestamps, units, sensor quality, operating modes, missing values and record ownership before selecting a method. PLC, SCADA, historian and maintenance records often need context to be useful together. We document limitations so a plausible result is not mistaken for a verified explanation.
- Read-only collection through agreed industrial interfaces
- Asset, product and operating-state context
- Visible treatment of gaps, stale readings and uncertain labels
Keep people responsible for engineering decisions
AI outputs are recommendations, summaries or flags for review. They do not issue machine commands, change PLC logic or protection settings, approve isolation or replace safety functions. The people responsible for the plant validate recommendations against the original records and operating conditions. Any resulting control modification follows a separately authorised engineering and testing process.
- No autonomous control or safety decisions
- Source references and explicit uncertainty where applicable
- Human review before maintenance or process changes
Prove one use case before extending it
We define a small pilot with agreed inputs, users and acceptance criteria. For a document assistant, checks include citation accuracy and handling of missing information. For anomaly review, they include false alerts, missed known events and variation across operating states. Results are compared with the current workflow, and the pilot can be revised or stopped if it does not add value.
- Representative test records and known-event review
- Agreed success measures and practical user feedback
- A documented decision on further rollout
Agree access, hosting and ownership first
Plant data and engineering documents need an agreed handling model. Before connecting services, we define access roles, approved data sources, hosting choices, retention and any external processing. Monitoring and review continue after deployment because equipment, documents and production patterns change. We identify who owns the system and how corrections or access changes are managed.
- Customer-approved scope for data collection and use
- Controlled access and separation of customer records
- Export, retention and ongoing support arrangements
Questions about industrial ai applications
Do we need a new PLC or cloud platform?
Not necessarily. We first examine existing records and interfaces. A pilot may use approved exports before any permanent connection is justified; local or hosted processing depends on your technical and data requirements.
Can AI predict every machine failure?
No. Detection depends on the failure mode, available signals and representative data. We describe what a pilot can test and avoid promising universal prediction, guaranteed savings or a precise remaining life without supporting evidence.
Is Panel Passport already a finished product?
Panel Passport remains a proposed pilot service. It combines QR-linked asset records with a source-cited document assistant. Pilot scope, access controls and acceptance checks are agreed before customer records are loaded.
