Control panels built around the way your plant works.
A reliable control system starts before the enclosure is ordered. Industrial Leader scopes and delivers industrial control panels, PLC software, operator interfaces and site commissioning as one coordinated engineering project. We help manufacturers, equipment builders and plant operators turn a process requirement into a system their people can operate and maintain.

One scope, from process requirements to production
New equipment, a capacity upgrade or an ageing panel each needs a different approach. We review the process, operating modes, field devices, available supply and existing controls before defining the architecture. Responsibilities for panel assembly, installation, software and testing are agreed at the start, so the interfaces between packages are clear.
- PLC and remote I/O control panels
- HMI stations, drive panels and motor-control upgrades
- Instrumentation interfaces and packaged-plant integration
Engineer the details that maintenance teams depend on
Our engineering team considers component availability, enclosure environment, heat dissipation, segregation, access and future expansion. We align device selection with your installed platforms and spare-parts strategy where practical. Drawings and software are developed together so terminal numbers, I/O references, equipment tags and operator messages describe the same system.
- Electrical schematics, panel layouts and component schedules
- I/O lists, network architecture and cable interfaces
- Consistent labelling, isolation information and maintainable documentation
Bring PLCs, drives and operator screens together
A panel is part of a working process. We connect the control hardware to structured PLC sequences, practical HMI screens and drive configuration. Start permissives, duty selection, process feedback, alarms and recovery behaviour are reviewed with your operations team. Safety functions and protective systems are separately defined and validated within the agreed project scope.
- Pumps, fans, conveyors, production machinery and process skids
- Speed control, sequencing and duty/standby arrangements
- SCADA, historian and read-only reporting connections
Test the system before the shutdown window
An agreed test plan makes acceptance concrete. Factory checks can cover wiring verification, I/O simulation, operating sequences, alarm behaviour and communications. Site commissioning then proves field devices, process response and operator workflows under controlled conditions. For retrofit work, we agree the cutover sequence, prerequisites and recovery plan before production is interrupted.
- Documented factory and site acceptance checks
- Witness points and clearly recorded outstanding items
- Controlled software versions and commissioning backups
Leave your team with a system they can support
Handover includes the records agreed in the scope: current drawings, software and parameter backups, component information, test records and operating guidance. We explain how the controls work and what routine support requires. Future monitoring, remote access or Panel Passport records can be planned at design stage and added when there is a useful business case.
- Operator and maintenance walkthroughs
- A clear record of settings and revisions
- Scoped support for later modifications and expansion
Questions about control systems & panel building
Can you upgrade an existing panel?
Yes. We assess the condition, available space, drawings and electrical interfaces first. The proposal may retain suitable components, replace an obsolete controller or define a complete panel replacement where that is the practical option.
Can you work with our electrical contractor or machine builder?
Yes. We agree package boundaries and coordinate drawings, installation requirements, field wiring, software and commissioning with the parties delivering the project.
What should we send for a quote?
Send the process description, existing drawings and panel photos, equipment list, supply information if known, preferred platforms and required commissioning date. We identify any gaps during scoping.
